FBK Economic Club: “Standards of Living in Russia: problems of measurement and differentiation”
On June 21, 2005, a meeting of the FBK Economic Club addressing the topic “Standards of Living in Russia: problems of measurement and differentiation” was held. In the course of the meeting, Mr. Igor Nikolaev, Director of the Strategic Analysis Department of FBK, made an analytical report “Poverty in Russia: economic analysis”. In FBK economists’ opinion, the poverty level measured through the use of the subjective approach significantly differs from the official data.
